What to Expect

During your initial meeting with an attorney for estate planning, you will be asked about your assets and how you would like them distributed upon your death. If you need assistance in probating an estate, you will be asked about the deceased's assets, debts, and estate documents. Options for your particular circumstance will be discussed. You will be told what will be expected of you and what you can expect from the attorney.

Payment Policy

Fees will be discussed and you may be asked to pay a retainer (advance payment). Depending on the services required in your situation fees may be fixed or hourly.
